Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Western Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in various styles of Western dance, including but not limited to jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, salsa, and freestyle. You will be responsible for teaching students of varying ages and skill levels, preparing choreography, and fostering a positive and energetic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and well-structured Western dance classes.
- Teach a variety of Western dance styles based on curriculum and student interests.
- Create choreography for performances, showcases, or competitions.
- Prepare students for stage performances and examinations (if applicable).
- Provide individualized feedback to help students improve technique and expression.
- Ensure a safe and encouraging class environment.
- Keep records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with other instructors for events and dance productions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Western dance instructor or professional dancer.
- Proficiency in one or more Western dance styles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach both beginners and advanced students.
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Certification or formal training in dance (preferred but not mandatory).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Medavakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
