Job Overview
Pitambra Film & Production is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished, engaging videos that align with our brand and storytelling style.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for films, commercials, social media, and promotional content
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and creative team members to understand project vision
- Trim footage, add music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects
- Ensure smooth transitions, proper pacing, and storytelling flow
- Color correct and enhance video quality
- Manage and organize video files and assets
- Stay updated with editing trends, tools, and techniques
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high creative standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and production workflows
- Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Basic knowledge of animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in film production, multimedia, or a related field
- Experience in editing films, ads, or digital content
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
