Role Overview
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, dedicated to delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for managing client communications, handling inquiries, and ensuring that our loan application process remains seamless and client focused. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a professional demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Communication & Support: Serve as the primary contact for client queries via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Administrative Coordination: Support the brokerage team by maintaining accurate client records in our CRM, tracking application progress, and assisting with document collection and administrative tasks.
- Inquiry Management: Proactively manage client expectations throughout the loan lifecycle, providing updates on application status and coordinating with the credit team to resolve issues.
- Operational Assistance: Assist with the preparation of client-facing materials, welcome packs, and general office support to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Quality & Compliance: Adhere to all internal privacy and compliance policies, ensuring that client data is handled securely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service, administrative, or office support role, preferably within the financial services or mortgage broking industry.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
- Technical Proficiency: Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience using CRM systems for data entry and client management.
- Competencies: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and a proactive mindset in resolving client issues.
