Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Training and Development Manager to oversee the Training and development activities of our Showroom Staff. You will be the one to identify the training needs of our entire showroom and train the employees to achieving the organizational goal.
As Training and Development Manager, you should assist and provide support and necessary training to our Showroom employees. You should also help them acquire new skills and learn professional development. In addition to this, you should assess and determine the potential areas for growth and progression.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation with Management and Showroom Managers.
- Develops training and development programs and objectives.
- Prepare training calendar and plan training programs accordingly.
- Train new hiring and existing staff of our Showrooms.
- Responsible for Developing Showroom Staff attitude, behavior and Customer Service
- Develop and implement learning strategies for the overall development of our team
- Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
- Plan end-to-end development programs according to the organizational requirements.
- Arrange in-house training programs
- Monitor and evaluate the progress through Appraisal Performa.
- Modify and adjust training programs when needed as per the company’s requirements.
- Trains and coaches Showroom Managers, supervisors, Sales Staff, Marketing staff and others involved in employee development efforts.
- Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
- Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs.
- Implement effective and purposeful training methods.
- Recommend Training strategies to management and Corporate HR.
- Effectively manage the training budget.
- Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
- Assess employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
- Drive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
- Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organizations goals.
- Keep abreast of training trends, developments and best practices.
- Modifies Training programs as needed.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in the industry.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as Training and Development Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
- Critical Thinker with innovative problem solving skills.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills.

- Attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in HR/Social Work or relevant field.
- 5+ years of work experience as a Learning and Development Specialist, Training and Development Manager, Training Manager or a similar role.
- Experience in Retail Industry will be an added advantage.
