- Application Support:
- Act as L2 escalation point for issues raised by the L1 monitoring team.
- Provide hands-on support to reduce operational workload for the core development team.
- Investigate and resolve application-level incidents.
- SRE Transition:
- Build operational processes and reliability practices.
- Shift monitoring tasks left to L1 team.
- Collaborate with engineers on release management and infrastructure upgrades, CI/CD pipelines.
Scope of Work
- Provide support for client-reported user issues.
- Lead incident responses, perform RCA, and provide on-call support.
- Debug application code, identify root causes, and suggest fixes.
- Make minor bug fixes and small code enhancements in production.
- Embed reliability practices and support production releases.
- Escalate unresolved technical problems to engineering teams.
Must-Have Skills
- Java Programming: Strong, hands-on coding proficiency in Java.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application-level issues.
- Incident Management: Proven experience in managing production incidents, performing RCA, and handling escalations.
- Database Concepts: Solid understanding and practical experience with databases (Oracle, SQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
Good-to-Have Skills
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud concepts.
- Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform / CDK
- Application Frameworks: Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, RESTful APIs.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Understanding of GitLab, Jenkins, and deployment automation.
- ITIL Awareness: Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management workflows.
Pay: Up to ₹1,978,943.95 per year
