Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Identify, document, and report quality issues, defects, and non-conformities.
- Perform quality checks using measuring instruments, testing equipment, and inspection tools.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Quality Inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or quality improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality testing instruments and calibration procedures.
- Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Certification in Quality Management or Quality Engineering is an added advantage.
- Experience in CNC, fabrication, woodworking, construction materials, or manufacturing industries preferred.
