Role description
UST Global is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to build and support scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions for one of the leading financial services organizations in the US and Australia. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GCP, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, Kubernetes, and production support with the ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously improve GCP deployment practices for reliability, scalability, and security.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
- Support the complete service lifecycle including design, deployment, monitoring, operations, and optimization.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using scripting/tools.
- Monitor production systems for availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through debugging, log analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Implement scalable and sustainable solutions using automation and modern cloud-native practices.
- Work closely with development, QA, and business teams for release planning and deployments.
- Participate in incident management, problem management, and postmortem activities.
- Document deployment architectures, processes, and operational procedures.
