Job Description – Site Engineer (Affordable Housing)
Position: Site Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer
Job Summary
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of affordable housing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site construction activities from excavation to finishing.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of work.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Check and certify work quantities for contractor billing.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and construction materials.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and rectify non-conformities.
- Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and MEP-related civil works.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company HSE policies.
- Resolve technical issues arising at the project site.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
- Participate in site meetings and provide project status updates.
- Ensure compliance with local authority guidelines and statutory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in residential or affordable housing projects.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of RCC, finishing, and structural works.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Familiarity with BOQ and quantity estimation.
- Good understanding of construction quality standards.
- Knowledge of IS Codes and construction practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Affordable Housing, Group Housing, or Residential Township Projects.
- Knowledge of Mivan/Shuttering systems (preferred).
- Experience in contractor billing and quality control.
- Familiarity with ERP or project management software will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
