Job Summary
Suresh Press Works is looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with 4 years of experience in manufacturing/press shop environment. The candidate will be responsible for machine maintenance, breakdown handling, preventive maintenance planning, and ensuring smooth production operations with minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
1️ Machine Maintenance
- Maintenance of power presses (mechanical & hydraulic), shearing machines, compressors & utility equipment
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical breakdowns
- Ensure quick resolution to minimize production loss
2️ Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules
- Maintain maintenance checklists and records
- Monitor machine performance and implement corrective actions
3️ Utilities & Facility Maintenance
- Maintain air compressors, panels, wiring, and basic plant utilities
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems and safety devices
4️ Continuous Improvement
- Identify root causes of frequent breakdowns
- Implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support production team for productivity improvement
5️ Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all machines comply with safety standards
- Maintain proper documentation for audits
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 4 years of experience in manufacturing or press shop maintenance
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience in press shop machine maintenance
- Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good coordination and team handling ability
