Data Engineer - Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in PySpark and Databricks to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
Role Scope / Responsibilities:
Design and develop new data pipelines in Databricks
Support and maintain existing data pipelines in Databricks
Monitor and resolve day-to-day job failures and performance issues
Ensure data pipelines are optimized for performance and scalability
Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams as required
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Data Engineering
Strong hands-on experience in PySpark and Databricks (minimum 3+ years)
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure - preferably AWS)
Good understanding of data pipeline design and performance optimization
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle production support activities
