Senior Manager - Finance (Accounts & Finance)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager - Finance to oversee our accounts and finance operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and business finance within the media and creative agency sector. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian taxation laws, particularly GST and TDS, along with proficiency in accounting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Indian taxation regulations, including GST and TDS.
- Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring high performance and development.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and compliance.
- Optimize accounting processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (CA/CMA) is a plus.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, specifically within a media and creative agency.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, including GST and TDS.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level preferred).
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
