About the Role
Wow! Momo's FMCG division is on a rapid growth trajectory, building a strong consumer brand across India. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the financial and accounting operations of this high-growth business vertical.
The ideal candidate will possess strong FMCG accounting expertise, including distributor claims management, modern trade reconciliation, inventory accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. This role will be instrumental in maintaining financial discipline while supporting business expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Operations
- Manage end-to-end accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
- Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and operational expenses accurately and on time.
- Maintain and finalize books of accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Distributor & Trade Management
- Reconcile ledgers for General Trade (GT) distributors, Modern Trade (MT) chains, and Quick Commerce partners.
- Process and settle trade claims, including promotional schemes, damages, discounts, and sales returns.
- Monitor receivables and manage channel partner credit limits.
Inventory & Cost Management
- Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) tracking.
- Coordinate stock audits across warehouses and reconcile inventory variances.
- Monitor logistics and freight expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable direct and indirect tax regulations.
- Manage GST, TDS, TCS, Professional Tax filings, and statutory submissions.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
MIS Reporting & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering sales, expenses, profitability, and business performance.
- Monitor working capital and cash flow requirements to support smooth business operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)
Experience
- 5–8 years of core accounting experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or related industries.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Analysis).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is preferred.
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards.
- Thorough knowledge of GST and taxation regulations.
- Familiarity with FMCG trade structures, distributor management, schemes, margins, and Modern Trade operations.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
