- Installation & Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in electrical components and systems using testing devices such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical specifications to plan layouts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to national, state, and local safety codes (e.g., NEC) and perform inspections to prevent hazards.
- System Upgrades: Modernize outdated electrical systems and repair equipment, motors, and control panels.
- Documentation: Maintain records of repairs and inspections.
