Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market reach, and managing distribution across domestic markets. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, leading the sales team, and building strong customer relationships to ensure sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
· Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals
· Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets
· Identify growth opportunities across regions and crop segments
· Forecast sales and plan product demand
2. Revenue & Business Growth
· Achieve overall sales and revenue targets
· Drive primary and secondary sales growth
· Expand market share
· Support new product launches and market penetration
3. Marketing & Brand Development
· Plan and execute online and offline marketing campaigns
· Strengthen brand positioning in domestic and export markets
· Manage promotions, exhibitions, and trade fairs
· Oversee digital marketing and lead generation activities
4. Distribution & Channel Management
· Develop and expand dealer, distributor, and channel partner network
· Ensure product availability and market coverage
· Build strong relationships with key customers and partners
5. Team Leadership & Management
· Lead and manage the sales & marketing team
· Set KPIs and track team performance
· Conduct regular reviews, training, and development initiatives
· Build a high-performance, target-driven culture
6. Market Intelligence & Analysis
· Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
· Identify customer needs and emerging opportunities
· Provide insights for product development and position in management
7. Sales Operations & Reporting
· Track sales performance, inventory, and stock movement
· Prepare MIS reports, forecasts, and dashboards
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting
8. Coordination with Internal Teams
· Work closely with Production, Procurement, and Marketing
· Align supply chain with sales demand
· Support branding, promotions, and farmer engagement programs
Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in FMCG / food / spices / consumer goods industry.
· Proven track record in achieving sales targets and expanding distribution.
· Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
