Reporting To: National Collections Head / Zonal Collections Head
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute state-level collection strategies tailored to Micro LAP products.
- Monitor portfolio health across branches and ensure reduction in delinquency rates.
- Align state targets with national recovery goals and compliance standards.
Portfolio Management
- Oversee collections for the entire Micro LAP portfolio within the state.
- Ensure timely follow-up on overdue accounts and minimize NPAs.
- Analyze repayment trends and implement corrective action plans.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor area collection managers and field recovery teams.
- Set KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to ethical recovery practices and regulatory norms.
- Proven ability to manage large teams across geographies
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with Sales,credit, risk, legal, and operations teams to streamline recovery efforts.
- Liaise with local law enforcement and legal counsel for escalated cases.
- Familiarity with SARFAESI, arbitration, Sec-138,156(3)Etc.
- Represent the organization in arbitration or legal proceedings when required.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal SOPs for collections.
- Implement tech-enabled tracking systems for real-time recovery updates.
- Drive training programs on recovery protocols and customer handling.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate
Experience: 10 years in collections, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing Micro LAP or similar secured and Unsecured portfolios
