Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Integration & Interoperability Engineer to join our software development team working on healthcare technology and care-management solutions.
The role will focus on healthcare system integration, EHR interoperability, clinical data exchange, API integration, and secure healthcare data transformation. Hands-on experience with HL7 FHIR R4, C-CDA/CCD, Direct Secure Messaging, and healthcare interoperability frameworks is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain healthcare system integrations.
- Work with HL7 FHIR R4 and C-CDA/CCD clinical document exchange.
- Develop and consume REST APIs using OAuth2 / SMART-on-FHIR authorization.
- Implement healthcare interoperability using Direct Secure Messaging.
- Work with Carequality and/or CommonWell interoperability frameworks.
- Perform clinical data mapping and transformation across healthcare terminologies.
- Work with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC and SNOMED CT.
- Integrate with EHR platforms, with athenahealth / AthenaOne strongly preferred.
- Support healthcare application deployment, testing, troubleshooting and go-live activities.
- Maintain secure, documented and audit-ready integration code.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare systems integration.
- Strong experience with HL7 FHIR R4.
- Practical experience with C-CDA / CCD.
- Experience with Direct Secure Messaging.
- Working knowledge of Carequality and/or CommonWell.
- Strong REST API integration experience.
- Experience with OAuth2 / SMART-on-FHIR.
- Healthcare data mapping and transformation experience.
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC and SNOMED CT.
- Experience integrating with an EHR platform.
Preferred Skills
- athenahealth Marketplace / athenahealth Developer API experience.
- Experience with AthenaOne.
- Experience with Medicare care-management programs.
- Experience working with care-coordination data.
Security & Compliance
The position involves working within a healthcare technology environment. Candidates must be comfortable following strict security and compliance practices, including:
- HIPAA-aligned secure development practices.
- Role-based access control and least-privilege principles.
- Encryption and audit logging.
- Use of de-identified or synthetic data during development and testing.
- Secure handling of healthcare information.

Pay: ₹36,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
