About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAC Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, Stories, Dashboards, Planning Models, Data Actions, and Multi-Actions.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAC solutions that address business planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics requirements.
The role requires strong knowledge of SAP data platforms and experience integrating SAC with SAP BW/BW4HANA and/or SAP S/4HANA.
Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Analytics Cloud Planning
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions.
- Configure and develop Planning Models based on business requirements.
- Implement planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes in SAC.
- Develop planning applications to support financial and operational planning.
- Configure dimensions, measures, versions, hierarchies, and other planning model components.
- Implement appropriate planning workflows and business logic.
Data Actions & Multi-Actions
- Develop and maintain SAC Data Actions for complex planning and data transformation requirements.
- Configure Multi-Actions to automate and orchestrate multiple planning activities.
- Implement calculations, allocations, copying, and other planning processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Data Actions and Multi-Actions for performance and reliability.
SAC Reporting & Analytics
- Design and develop SAC Stories, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Create interactive visualizations and analytical reports based on business requirements.
- Develop dashboards for management reporting and decision-making.
- Ensure reports provide accurate and meaningful business insights.
- Optimize existing SAC stories and dashboards for usability and performance.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Translate business planning requirements into SAC planning solutions.
- Implement planning scenarios, versions, and forecasting requirements.
- Work with business users to understand planning processes and improve existing solutions.
SAP Integration
- Work with SAP BW/BW4HANA and/or SAP S/4HANA data sources.
- Support integration between SAC and SAP backend systems.
- Understand data models and data flows used for SAC reporting and planning.
- Troubleshoot data connectivity and integration issues.
- Ensure data availability and consistency between source systems and SAC.
Business & Stakeholder Management
- Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical SAC solutions.
- Work closely with business, functional, and technical teams.
- Participate in requirement discussions, solution design, testing, deployment, and support.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on development activities, issues, and project progress.
Support & Optimization
- Troubleshoot issues related to SAC planning, reporting, models, and data integration.
- Analyze and resolve performance and data-related issues.
- Maintain existing SAC applications and implement enhancements.
- Participate in testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production support.
- Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP Analytics / SAP BI.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Strong experience in SAC Planning.
- Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Strong experience in SAC Stories, Reporting, and Dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with Planning Models.
- Strong experience with Data Actions and Multi-Actions.
- Experience with SAP BW/BW4HANA and/or S/4HANA integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with complex SAC planning implementations.
- Experience in financial planning and management reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP BW data models.
- Experience with enterprise-level SAP analytics environments.
- Experience troubleshooting SAC data integration and performance issues.
- Understanding of SAP business processes related to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Required Experience
The candidate should have demonstrated experience in:
- Building SAC Planning Models from business requirements.
- Developing Data Actions and Multi-Actions.
- Creating SAC Stories and executive dashboards.
- Implementing budgeting and forecasting solutions.
- Working with SAP BW/BW4HANA or S/4HANA data.
- Supporting existing SAC implementations and enhancements.
- Working directly with business stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on SAC Consultant who can independently work across both planning and analytics requirements.
They should be comfortable understanding business processes, converting requirements into SAC solutions, developing planning models and actions, creating reporting dashboards, and working with SAP backend systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are important because the consultant will interact directly with business and technical teams.
Pay: ₹492,000.00 - ₹1,868,808.54 per year
