Role Summary :
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic DTP Artist Intern with working knowledge of CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop. The candidate will support the design and production team in creating, customizing, and finalizing book covers and print-ready artwork for schools, coaching institutes, and educational publications.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in educational publishing, graphic design, and print production.
Key Responsibilities :
Design & Artwork Creation
Design and customize book covers as per client and school requirements.
Create visually appealing layouts, graphics, and artwork for educational publications.
Modify existing cover designs, logos, and branding elements based on feedback.
Ensure designs align with company and client brand guidelines.
DTP & Print Production
Prepare print-ready files with accurate dimensions, margins, bleeds, and color settings.
Perform image editing, retouching, and formatting using Photoshop.
Handle page layout adjustments and artwork corrections in CorelDRAW.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure error-free output.
Quality Control
Review artwork for spelling, alignment, formatting, and design consistency.
Ensure all files meet printing and publishing standards.
Maintain organized design files and project documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing or completed a Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, DTP, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
Working knowledge of CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop.
Basic understanding of print production and file preparation.
Good eye for design, typography, color combinations, and layout.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign will be an added advantage.
Understanding of educational publishing or book design.
Basic knowledge of image editing and print specifications.
