About the Team
Inventory Replenishment Team in SSC-B is focused on moving all the exceptions from auto replenishment system supporting in allocation of demand to stores enabling seamless ordering and replenishment. Monitoring Store/PRO and timely approvals and allocation resulting in optimization and improve in TSPM%. Track all the PO’s making sure it is deployed in DC. Managing all the parameters to improve in-stock percentage in partnership with Inventory specialist and Inventory planners providing all the deep dive analysis on Root cause of reduced in-stock and recommendations
I. Job Summary:
Inventory Lead will be aligned to one Business Area and is responsible for managing and leading a team of Analysts focused on driving short-, medium- and long-term improvements within Inventory Replenishment Planning space. Enable strategic improvement initiatives for Inventory KPIs (In-stock and TSPM %, WOS, Inventory Turn etc.), while being able to dive deep into areas of opportunity and develop solutions and processes towards improvements. Be responsible for superior operational excellence and team management. Through cross functional collaboration with multiple technical and operational teams within Lowe’s Supply Chain organization elevate and deliver best-in-class Inventory Management practices.
II. Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor and drive Inventory Analysts to deliver strong insights and analysis driving improvements in Inventory management processes.
2. Work proactively with the US team to provide strategic planning to maintain high standards and streamlined processes
3. Represent the team as the subject matter expert for IRP processes and strategies
4. Leads KPI tracking, trend analysis, root causing and insights generation processes and enables team derive actionable insights on a regular basis to improve and optimize inventory situation across business area
5. Builds in-depth understanding of the replenishment tools and systems, as well as able to map tool functionality to the business nuances in order to manage day to day inventory issues like purchase order management through exception resolution
6. Bridge between Supply Chain, Operations, and Merchandising team to resolve Inventory issues rapid
7. Partners with cross functional teams to improve Inventory KPIs and provide teams with right data and metrics for better analysis and decision making
8. Drive superior Operational Excellence within the team
9. Establish workflow to address deliverable schedules, staffing requirements, quality and technology, ensuring work is delivered on-time and right the first time
10. Assess and improve internal workflow and maintain optimization and efficiencies as needed.
11. Responsible for Selecting, Hiring, Developing, Engaging & retaining talent 12. Establish Global working best practices to enable effective partnership and build execution ownership.

III. Years of Experience:
7-10 years of Inventory Management or Supply Chain operations experience required
IV. Education Qualification & Certifications
Required Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering Or · MBA or master’s degree in Supply Chain preferred
V. Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
- Experience with data analysis and providing insights about the data
- Experience in Data mining and visualization tool such as Power BI, SQL, MS Access, VBA and Excel
- Experience managing small to medium sized projects
· Ability to work multiple projects and work streams with conflicting objectives · Ability to work within a matrix organization
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior team management experience
