Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs and adapt applications accordingly is a key part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Principal Java Evangelist – Static Analysis & Code Quality (Offshore)
Own and evolve industry-adopted open-source SonarQube plugins, keeping them stable, compatible, and continuously improving Java code quality tooling
Research, design and write custom static analysis rules focused on Java performance, anti-patterns, and quality violations. Someone who understands the JVM deeply, not just the language
Act as a design authority, set technical direction, challenge assumptions, and push back where needed with the confidence of someone who has genuinely earned it
Bring a proven open-source track record, having actively contributed to Java libraries or tooling that the community actually depends on
Strong command of JVM internals, memory model, concurrency and real-world performance patterns, built through years of hands-on obsession
Deeply plugged into the Java ecosystem through conferences, community contributions, and emerging patterns, and able to translate that knowledge into better rules and sharper technical decisions
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
