Job Title: Import-Export Intern / International Business Trainee About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Import-Export Intern to join our international trade team. This internship is open for final-year B.Sc. / MBA students who have excellent English communication skills and a keen interest in learning global trade operations, documentation, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Vendor Communication: Assist in daily email correspondence and calls with international clients, suppliers, and freight forwarders in fluent English.
- Documentation Support: Help prepare and verify import-export documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.).
- Market Research: Conduct research on overseas buyers, prospective markets, and international trade trends.
- Shipment Tracking: Follow up on shipment statuses, customs clearance updates, and logistics timelines.
- Database Management: Maintain organized records of international inquiries, trade leads, and client feedback.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Final year student pursuing MBA (International Business / Marketing / Supply Chain) or B.Sc. (from any relevant background).
- Language Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory (clear communication for overseas interaction).
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge or high enthusiasm for Import-Export / Supply Chain / Logistics operations.
- Good hands-on experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email etiquette.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
