We are looking for a skilled and passionate CodeIgniter PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing web applications using the CodeIgniter framework, strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and the ability to work independently on projects.
You will be responsible for developing new applications, maintaining existing software, optimizing performance, and collaborating with UI/UX designers and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using CodeIgniter.
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and reusable PHP code.
- Design and optimize MySQL databases.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate third-party APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Ensure website security and data protection.
- Perform code reviews and maintain documentation.
- Participate in project planning and requirement analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with PHP and the CodeIgniter Framework.
- Good knowledge of MySQL database design and optimization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of MVC architecture.
- Understanding of Git version control.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience in debugging and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Laravel is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Linux servers and Apache/Nginx.
- Familiarity with cPanel, WHM, or VPS hosting.
- Experience integrating payment gateways.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Docker is desirable.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Experience
