Job Title: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Trainer

Job Summary
DREAM CADD is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic CCNA Trainer to deliver high-quality networking training based on Cisco technologies. The trainer will be responsible for teaching networking concepts, conducting practical lab sessions, mentoring students for Cisco certification exams, and preparing them for careers in networking, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training on Cisco CCNA curriculum.
- Teach networking fundamentals, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, IPv4 & IPv6 addressing, subnetting, and network protocols.
- Conduct hands-on laboratory sessions using Cisco routers, switches, and network simulation tools.
- Train students on routing and switching technologies, including Static Routing, RIP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and Inter-VLAN Routing.
- Explain network services such as DHCP, DNS, NAT, ACLs, SSH, and Network Address Translation.
- Provide training on wireless networking fundamentals and network security concepts.
- Prepare students for the Cisco CCNA certification examination through mock tests and practice sessions.
- Develop course materials, presentations, assignments, and practical lab exercises.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, quizzes, and project work.
- Troubleshoot networking issues and demonstrate real-time network configuration.
- Maintain networking laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning of routers, switches, and related devices.
- Stay updated with the latest Cisco technologies, networking trends, and certification updates.
- Support placement activities by conducting interview preparation sessions and technical guidance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and Cisco technologies.
- Expertise in IP Addressing, Subnetting, Routing, Switching, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and IPv6.
- Hands-on experience configuring Cisco routers and switches.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- Experience with Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3, and Wireshark.
- Understanding of network security fundamentals, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networking.
- Basic knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to mentor students with practical, industry-oriented training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
- Cisco CCNA Certification is mandatory.
- CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CyberOps, or other networking certifications are an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in networking, system administration, network support, or CCNA training.
- Freshers with a valid CCNA certification and strong practical networking skills may also apply.
