Position : Punching Machine Operator
· Operate the Punching Machine safely and efficiently as per the production plan.
· Set up the machine, including tool/die installation, size changeover, machine parameter setting, and alignment.
· Review production/job orders to ensure correct material, punch size, quantity, and specifications.
· Achieve production targets in terms of productivity, quality, machine efficiency, and minimum wastage.
· Inspect punched products for dimensional accuracy, burrs, edge quality, visual defects, and count accuracy.
· Ensure optimum machine utilization by minimizing setup time and machine downtime.
· Perform die changes, trial runs, and process adjustments to meet quality standards.
· Maintain accurate Daily Production Reports (DPR) and production records.
· Minimize raw material wastage during machine setup and production.
· Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
· Troubleshoot minor machine and process-related issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for major breakdowns.
· Follow all SOPs, GMP, 5S, safety, and quality standards.
· Coordinate with the Planning, Slitting, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely order completion.
· Maintain proper housekeeping around the machine and work area.
· Be willing to work in day, night, and rotational shifts as per production requirements.
Experience :Equivalent to 12th /ITI /Diploma With 01 to 5 Year Experience
