Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring key quality metrics, managing test execution, and ensuring timely resolution of defects to uphold the overall quality of the software product.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance processes to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and testing methodologies applicable to software development lifecycles.
- Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements.
- Ability to define, track, and analyze key quality metrics to drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Skilled in defect management and resolution techniques to ensure timely and effective problem-solving.
- Competence in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and integrating ecosystem components to accelerate delivery.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
