ob Summary:
The Pastry CDP is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked products as per company standards. The role includes supervising commis staff, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, cakes, mousses, tarts, chocolates, and baked items.
- Ensure all products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and trainees in daily production.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI and food safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, FIFO, and stock rotation of ingredients.
- Assist in menu planning, new product development, and seasonal specials.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams for timely dispatch.
- Minimize wastage and control food cost.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Follow company SOPs, discipline, and kitchen safety norms.

Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Bakery & Pastry or Hotel Management preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bakery/pastry, with at least 1 year as CDP or Senior Commis
