About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive 3PL Logistics Operations Executive to manage day-to-day logistics operations and ensure the smooth movement of shipments across our branch network. The ideal candidate will coordinate with customers, transporters, warehouses, and branch teams to ensure timely pickup, delivery, and accurate shipment tracking while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation and logistics operations for customer shipments.
- Plan and monitor vehicle movement, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, warehouse teams, and branch offices for seamless operations.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery of consignments.
- Handle customer queries, delivery issues, and shipment escalations professionally.
- Prepare and maintain shipment documentation, delivery records, PODs (Proof of Delivery), invoices, and operational reports.
- Update shipment details accurately in the Transport Management System (TMS) or ERP.
- Coordinate with Branch Managers to ensure smooth operational activities and resolve branch-level issues.
- Monitor vehicle utilization and support route planning for operational efficiency.
- Follow up on pending deliveries, POD collection, and customer acknowledgements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer SOPs, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain high service levels and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in 3PL Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarding, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Freshers with a Logistics or Supply Chain qualification and strong communication skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of transportation and 3PL logistics operations.
- Experience using TMS, ERP, or logistics software.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery timelines.
- Customer-focused with strong organizational skills.
