**Ionic Fashion Academy (IFA), Kolkata** is looking for an experienced and passionate **Fashion Design Professional / Faculty** to join our academic team.
We are specifically seeking **experienced fashion professionals with 5–7 years of relevant industry or teaching experience**.

### Key Responsibilities
* Conduct engaging **theory and practical classes** for fashion design students.
* Develop and deliver course content, assignments, projects, and practical sessions.
* Guide students in fashion illustration, design development, textiles, and garment-related projects.
* Demonstrate techniques including **tie & dye, textile manipulation, and surface design**.
* Teach students about **fashion merchandising and industry practices**.
* Mentor students in developing professional portfolios and design collections.
* Provide constructive feedback and evaluate student projects.
* Stay updated with current fashion trends and industry developments.
* Support workshops, exhibitions, fashion shows, and other academic activities.
* Create an industry-oriented and creative learning environment.
### Candidate Profile

* Experienced in the **fashion industry and/or fashion education**.
* Passionate about fashion and student mentoring.
* Strong in both **theoretical and practical teaching**.
* Creative, innovative, and industry-oriented.
* Excellent in communication and presentation.
* Capable of handling students and practical studio sessions independently.
### Educational Qualification
Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent qualification in:
**Fashion Design | Fashion Technology | Textile Design | Apparel Design | Fashion Merchandising | Related Discipline**
