About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join our ethnic women's wear store at Park Street, Kolkata. You will be the face of our brand on the shop floor — guiding customers, building relationships, and driving sales of our handcrafted ethnic clothing collection including Anarkali suits, lehengas, sharara suits, Indo-Western wear, and gowns.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in customers and recommend suitable products based on their needs
- Maintain strong knowledge of the store's ethnic wear catalogue and ongoing collections
- Handle billing and basic inventory management using a computer or POS system
- Meet individual and store-level monthly sales targets
- Keep the shop floor organised, clean, and visually presentable at all times
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
- Assist with new stock receiving, tagging, and display arrangement
Requirements
- Prior experience in ethnic wear, women's clothing, or fashion retail is preferred
- Fluent in Hindi, English and Bengali
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, reliable, and target-oriented
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
