Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Account Manager to build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage a portfolio of assigned clients, develop new business opportunities from existing customers, and actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
The Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring client satisfaction while fostering business growth and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Oversee customer account management activities, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop new business opportunities with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to achieve sales targets.
- Forecast and track key account metrics, including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and account performance.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level management.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
