Job Title: Gold Loan Cashier
Job Overview:
As a Gold Loan Cashier, your primary responsibility is to manage and oversee all financial transactions related to gold loans. You will be responsible for accurately processing loan payments, maintaining customer records, and ensuring the security of valuable assets. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a solid understanding of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Processing:
- Receive gold items from customers seeking loans.
- Assess the value of gold items based on current market rates and company guidelines.
- Determine the loan amount eligible for the customer.
- Prepare and process the necessary documentation for loan approval.
- Cash Handling:
- Receive and disburse cash for loan transactions.
- Ensure accuracy in counting and verifying cash amounts.
- Handle currency, coins, and other forms of payment in a secure and efficient manner.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
- Input customer information into the system and update loan details as necessary.
- Generate receipts, statements, and reports as required.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Explain loan terms, interest rates, and repayment schedules to customers.
- Ensure a positive and respectful interaction with customers at all times.
- Security Measures:
- Implement and adhere to security protocols to safeguard gold items and cash.
- Work closely with security personnel to prevent any potential theft or fraud.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting gold loan transactions.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other team members, including loan officers and management, to streamline processes and enhance customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a cashier or financial role is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of gold valuation and loan processing procedures is an advantage.
- Familiarity with financial software and systems.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
