Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking ITI Fitter Freshers to join our manufacturing/workshop team. The candidate will assist in fitting, assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair activities while learning practical skills under the guidance of senior technicians and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in assembling and fitting mechanical components, structures, and equipment.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment safely.
- Support maintenance and repair activities of machines and equipment.
- Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, and fabrication-related tasks as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop.
- Report equipment issues and work progress to the supervisor.
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Assist senior fitters and technicians in day-to-day operations.
Qualification
- ITI Certificate in Fitter Trade (NCVT/SCVT).
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical fitting and workshop practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Ability to read measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and measuring tapes.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing/workshop environment.
- Positive attitude and discipline.
