- B.E./B.Tech.in Mechanical Engineering.

Job Summary:- We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Design Engineer (Fresher) to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The selected candidate will assist in designing and drafting equipment, preparing manufacturing drawings, and supporting the engineering team in product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Assist in the design and development of new products.
- Maintain proper documentation of engineering drawings and revisions.
- Ensure designs comply with company standards and engineering practices.
- Support the production and installation teams with technical drawings when required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD (2D Drafting).
- Good knowledge of SolidWorks (3D Modelling & Assembly).
- Understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:-
- Knowledge of Sheet Metal Design.
- Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with stainless steel fabrication.
- Knowledge of pressure vessels, tanks, piping, and process equipment will be an added advantage.
