We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage the financial operations of our HORECA wholesale business, SURBHI SALES CORPORATION.The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day transactions, manage high-volume accounts payable/receivable with hospitality clients, monitor inventory costs, and ensure strict statutory compliance.
Core Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage high-frequency invoicing for HORECA clients, track collections, resolve payment discrepancies, and process vendor and supplier payments.
- Inventory & Cost Accounting: Track costs of food, beverage, and catering supplies. Monitor bulk purchasing, analyze inventory valuation, and conduct variance analysis to control shrinkage and spoilage costs.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Generate profit and loss (\(P\&L\)) reports specific to wholesale operations and different product categories.
- Taxation & Compliance: Manage local and national tax requirements, including GST/VAT, TDS, and corporate tax filings. Ensure all operations meet HORECA food safety and trade license financial regulations.
- Reconciliation: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly bank, ledger, and vendor account reconciliations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management with cash flow projections, budget preparation, and pricing strategy analyses to remain competitive in the foodservice market.
Requirements & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in corporate accounting, ideally within the food, beverage, or hospitality wholesale sector.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in accounting software Tallyand advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of HORECA supply chain margins, cost of goods sold (COGS), and bulk wholesale operations.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills for vendor and client relations, and high integrity in handling confidential financial data.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
