Job Description
Edify School is looking for an experienced and passionate Pre-School Centre Head to lead the academic and operational activities of the preschool. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality early childhood education, manage staff, oversee admissions, and maintain strong relationships with parents while fostering a safe and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily preschool operations.
- Ensure effective implementation of the early years curriculum.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teaching and support staff.
- Drive admissions and parent engagement activities.
- Maintain high standards of child safety, hygiene, and compliance.
- Plan academic events, teacher training, and classroom observations.
- Monitor student development and ensure quality learning outcomes.
- Coordinate with management to achieve academic and operational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education (B.Ed./M.Ed.) or relevant qualification. Montessori/ECCE certification preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in preschool/early years education, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Experience in admissions, parent counseling, and school operations.
- Good knowledge of preschool curriculum and child development.
