Job Summary
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing and maintaining all construction and site materials, tools, equipment, and inventory records for real estate projects. The role ensures proper storage, stock control, timely issuance of materials, and accurate documentation to support smooth project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of construction materials and equipment.
- Issue materials to site staff and contractors as per approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder requests when inventory is low.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock registers, and material movement logs.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper handling and safety of materials in the store area.
- Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and site engineers regarding inventory requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Track damaged, expired, or excess materials and report discrepancies.
- Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of the store premises.
- Follow company policies related to inventory control and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or graduate degree preferred.
- Experience in storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse operations in real estate/construction.
- Knowledge of construction materials and site operations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Excel or inventory software.
- Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Pay: Up to ₹31,258.99 per month
