About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Azure Tech Lead to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing enterprise-grade Azure cloud infrastructure and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive cloud transformation initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and implement scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Implementation
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure cloud architectures.
- Lead deployment and management of Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Integrate Azure environments with on-premises and multi-cloud platforms.
Cloud Operations & Management
- Manage Azure resources including VMs, AKS, Storage Accounts, Networking, Databases, and Load Balancers.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure and applications.
- Implement and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Optimize resource allocation, cloud performance, and operational efficiency.
- Handle cloud budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
Security & Compliance
- Implement Azure security best practices and governance policies.
- Manage access controls using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and RBAC.
- Configure and maintain NSGs, ASGs, WAF, DDoS Protection, and Azure Security Center.
- Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineering, security, DevOps, and business teams.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives and technical best practices.
Innovation & Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to improve cloud performance and reduce operational costs.
- Recommend and evaluate new Azure services and technologies.
- Drive FinOps practices for better visibility and optimization of cloud spend.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience working with Azure Infrastructure Services.

- Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- Experience with Azure HA & DR services including ASR, Availability Zones, Availability Sets, and Scale Sets.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Azure security and compliance features.
- Experience with Windows Server Administration.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Azure certifications are highly preferred:
- AZ-104: Azure Administrator
- AZ-140: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
- AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer
