GEM Executive (Government e-Marketplace)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive GEM Executive to manage our company’s presence on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for product listings, bid participation, order processing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with GeM guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s GeM seller account.
- Create, update, and optimize product/service listings on the GeM portal.
- Identify and monitor relevant bids, tenders, and reverse auctions.
- Prepare and submit quotations, bids, and tender documents within deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, inventory, technical specifications, and documentation.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, dispatch details, and order fulfilment.
- Resolve buyer queries, complaints, and portal-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with GeM policies and government procurement guidelines.
- Maintain records of bids, orders, payments, and performance reports.
- Coordinate with logistics, accounts, and management for smooth execution of government orders.
- Track market opportunities and provide regular MIS reports to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in handling the GeM portal (freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply).
- Good understanding of government procurement procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with tender portals such as GeM, CPPP, and e-procurement platforms.
- Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and government documentation.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management software is an advantage.

Compensation
Salary: As per experience and company standards.
Pay: ₹10,090.22 - ₹22,472.79 per month
