Job Title: Junior Research Analyst.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Research Analyst to support equity and industry research efforts. The role involves conducting fundamental analysis, building financial models, and assisting in generating investment insights.
Key ResponsibilitiesEquity & Industry Research
- Conduct company-level fundamental research across sectors
- Analyze annual reports, earnings transcripts, investor presentations, and industry publications
- Understand business models, value chains, competitive positioning, and market structures
- Track sector trends, emerging themes, and macroeconomic developments
Financial Analysis & Modeling
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuation frameworks
- Analyze financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Evaluate key financial metrics such as ROE, ROCE, margins, leverage, and cash flows
- Support valuation using DCF, comparable multiples, and other methodologies
Investment Research Support
- Assist senior analysts in generating investment ideas and recommendations
- Prepare research notes, investment memos, dashboards, and reports
- Track portfolio companies and monitor quarterly results and corporate updates
Business & Competitive Analysis
- Identify key business drivers and economic fundamentals
- Analyze competitive advantages such as pricing power and scale
- Evaluate management quality and long-term strategies
Data & Research Management
- Collect, organize, and maintain financial and industry data
- Conduct secondary research and channel checks
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely updates of research output
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with senior analysts and contribute to discussions
- Participate in investment meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Present insights clearly and concisely
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of financial statements and capital markets
- Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- NISm XV Certified.
- Familiarity with tools like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or Screener
- Experience (0–2 years) in research, finance, or analytics

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
