About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Junior Psycho-Oncologist to support
cancer patients and their families emotionally and psychologically.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Counselling & Support
Provide basic counselling and emotional support to cancer patients
Support family members and caregivers in coping with diagnosis and treatment
Assist in distress screening and psychological assessments
Work under supervision for complex cases
2. Content Creation
Create simple, patient-friendly content (posts, scripts, videos, articles)
Contribute to online and offline awareness initiatives on mental health and cancer care
Support digital engagement (live sessions, support groups, community platforms
3. Research & Documentation
Assist in research projects and data collection
Maintain therapy notes and patient records
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology / Health psychology / Counselling Psychology
(completed )
- Internship or exposure to oncology setting / hospital/clinical setup is a plus.
Required Skills:
- Basic counselling and communication skills
- Empathy and willingness to work with cancer patients
- Interest in content creation and awareness work
