Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Video Editor to collaborate with our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a creative eye for storytelling, and the ability to deliver high-quality videos within agreed timelines. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently while maintaining consistent quality across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, websites, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.
- Create short-form content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok videos.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, text animations, sound effects, background music, and subtitles where required.
- Perform color correction, color grading, and basic audio enhancement.
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Manage multiple assignments and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
- Organize project files and maintain a smooth workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio or showreel.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Knowledge of social media video formats and platform-specific best practices.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Engagement Details
- Employment Type: Freelance / Contract
