Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and sourcing suppliers/vendors for required materials, goods, and services.
- Learn to negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Support in issuing purchase orders and contracts based on approved requisitions and agreements.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Learn to evaluate supplier performance based on criteria such as quality, delivery reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Learn to analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Participate in vendor meetings, conferences, and negotiations under the guidance of senior purchasing staff.
- Assist in implementing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members.
- Participate in training programs and educational opportunities to enhance procurement knowledge and skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
