About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant cum Inventory Executive to manage accounting operations, inventory control, stock reconciliation, and financial reporting in our FMCG manufacturing business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime, GST compliance, inventory management, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
This role requires close coordination with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial records and inventory accuracy.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime/ERP.
- Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal, and contra entries.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Maintain General Ledger, Vendor Ledger, and Customer Ledger.
- Prepare and verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Process vendor payments and monitor customer receivables.
- Maintain petty cash and cash book.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare MIS Reports, expense reports, and financial summaries.
- Coordinate with auditors and Chartered Accountant for statutory audits.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory records of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Finished Goods, Consumables, and Dispatch Stock.
- Record Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Goods Issue Notes (GIN), and stock transfers.
- Perform daily inventory updates in ERP/Tally.
- Conduct weekly and monthly physical stock verification.
- Perform stock reconciliation between physical and system inventory.
- Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving stock, damaged stock, and stock variances.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
- Generate inventory movement, valuation, and stock reports.
- Coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.

- Prepare Daily Stock Reports.
- Monthly Inventory Reports.
- Inventory Valuation Reports.

- Outstanding Receivable & Payable Reports.

- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, purchase orders, delivery challans, and stock records.

Qualifications
- B.Com (Mandatory)

- Experience working with inventory and accounting modules in ERP systems will be an added advantage.
