Job Summary:
Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, vendor sourcing, supplier development, cost optimization, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors to support company growth and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new suppliers/vendors as per business requirements.
- Source materials/services at competitive cost, quality, and delivery terms.
- Conduct market research for vendor development and business opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers and clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, and business partners.
- Generate new business leads and support business expansion activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments for sourcing, procurement, and project requirements.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Support management in strategic sourcing and business development planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- BE-Mech/BTech/MBA in Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or business development.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of cost analysis, contracts, and market research.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP (preferred).
