Position Summary
The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is responsible for providing day-to-day medical care, patient assessment, clinical coordination, emergency management, treatment monitoring, documentation, and support to consultant oncologists. The DMO plays a critical role in ensuring safe and effective delivery of chemotherapy and supportive oncology services while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- Permanent registration with the appropriate State Medical Council / National Medical Commission.
- Valid medical practice license.
Experience
Preferred
- 1–5 years of clinical experience.
- Experience in oncology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, or hospital practice preferred.
Freshers
- Fresh MBBS graduates with strong clinical aptitude may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Emergency management capabilities.
- Good communication and patient counselling skills.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- EMR/HIS documentation proficiency.
- Patient-centric approach and empathy.
- Strong ethical and professional conduct.
Compensation
- Salary not a constraint and commensurate with qualification and experience
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
