Japan With Adi is looking for a creative and dedicated Social Media Strategist Intern who can help us plan, manage and grow our online presence across Instagram, YouTube and other platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities :-
The intern will be responsible for planning and supporting JWA’s social media growth strategy.
Main responsibilities include:-
- Plan content ideas for Instagram reels, carousels, stories, YouTube videos and shorts.
- Research trending topics related to Japan, scholarships, Japanese language, study abroad, student life and career opportunities.
- Create weekly and monthly content calendars for JWA.
- Work with the content and design team to decide hooks, captions, post structure and video ideas.
- Analyze what type of content is performing well and suggest improvements.
- Study competitors and similar education creators to understand trends and content gaps.
- Help in writing captions, reel scripts, post ideas and campaign concepts.
- Support promotional campaigns for JWA programs like KIHON and FS28.
- Track social media performance such as reach, engagement, saves, shares and follower growth.
- Suggest new ways to improve Instagram and YouTube growth.
- Coordinate with video editors, designers and the internal team for smooth content execution.
- Help maintain consistency in JWA’s brand tone, messaging and visual direction.
Skills Required:-
- Good understanding of Instagram, YouTube and basic social media trends.
- Creative thinking and ability to come up with strong content ideas.
- Basic knowledge of captions, hooks, reels, carousels and storytelling.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic research skills.
- Ability to understand student psychology and education-based content.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Must be disciplined, responsible and open to learning.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Notion, Google Sheets or content planning tools will be a plus.
- Interest in Japan, education, study abroad or career guidance will be preferred.
