Title: AS400 RPGLE Developer

About the Role
We are looking for an AS400 RPGLE Developer to support, maintain, and enhance customer-facing business applications running on IBM i / iSeries systems.
This role involves working on both existing and new applications, partnering with business stakeholders to understand requirements, developing solutions, supporting integrations, and participating in implementation activities.
The position requires hands-on development experience in RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2 for i within an IBM i environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support, maintain, and enhance business applications on IBM i / AS400 systems
· Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
· Design, develop, test, document, and implement application solutions
· Perform application validation, acceptance testing, and deployment activities
· Deliver solutions aligned with established development standards, policies, and best practices
· Lead assigned projects from requirement definition through delivery
· Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and vendors as required
· Support integrations between internal systems and external customer/vendor systems
· Maintain working knowledge of production applications and related processes
· Troubleshoot application and production support issues as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
· 3+ years of experience in IBM i / iSeries application development environment
· Strong proficiency in RPGLE and CL/CLLE
· Experience with DB2 for i
· Experience with IBM i development tools such as: SEU, PDM, RDi
· Knowledge of IBM i administration including: Libraries, User profiles, Job queues, System security
· Experience working with legacy applications and migration-related activities
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
