Job Description:
We are seeking a native or bilingual Russian speaker to edit, create, review and localize content for our AI robot. The ideal candidate will ensure that content is culturally relevant, engaging, and accurate for children. This role also involves testing the content directly on Miko to verify its quality and conversational flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and Localize English content into Russian maintaining a friendly, playful tone suitable for kids.
Edit and rewrite content where direct translation isn’t sufficient.
Collaborate with the content and product teams to ensure the content aligns with Miko's educational goals and brand voice.
Test localized content on Miko and provide detailed quality, engagement, and accuracy feedback.
Identify and suggest improvements to make the content more interactive and culturally relevant.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Literature, Education, or a related field.
Native or Bilingual Russian speaker with excellent grammar and vocabulary.
2+ years of experience in content localisation, review, translation or editing (preferably for children’s content).
Ability to write engaging and age-appropriate content for different age groups.
Basic technical skills to test content on AI platforms (training will be provided).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have:
Experience in voice-based technology platforms.
Knowledge of child psychology, education, or pedagogy.
Familiarity with cultural nuances of different Russian-speaking regions.
