Job Summary:
The Paediatric Doctor is responsible for providing medical care and treatment to infants, children, and adolescents during night shifts, including emergency management, inpatient monitoring, and patient consultations while ensuring high standards of patient care.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Attend paediatric OPD, emergency, NICU/PICU, and inpatient cases during night duty.
- Examine, diagnose, and treat paediatric patients.
- Monitor admitted children and provide timely medical intervention.
- Handle neonatal and paediatric emergencies efficiently.
- Coordinate with nurses and other departments for patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
- Counsel parents/guardians regarding patient condition and treatment plans.
- Ensure timely response to emergency calls and critical cases.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and medical ethics.
- Participate in patient handovers and clinical discussions.
Required Skills:
- Strong clinical and emergency handling skills.
- Good communication and counselling abilities.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Team coordination and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of NICU/PICU management preferred.
Qualification:
MBBS with MD/DNB/DCH in Paediatrics.
Valid medical registration certificate.
Experience:
1–5 years experience in Paediatrics/NICU/PICU preferred.
Working Conditions:
Night shift duty as per hospital schedule.
Emergency and on-call responsibilities.
Salary:
- As per hospital norms and experience.
Pay: ₹16,098.34 - ₹87,396.53 per month
