We are looking for an experienced Senior Inventory Planning Analyst to manage inventory planning, stock analysis, and replenishment activities for our retail operations. The role involves demand forecasting, inventory optimization, stock allocation, and ensuring healthy inventory levels across multiple stores and warehouse locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze inventory performance across all stores and warehouse locations.
- Prepare stock replenishment plans based on sales trends and demand forecasts.
- Monitor stock availability and prevent stock-outs, overstocking, and dead stock situations.
- Track inventory turnover, sell-through, ROS, SOH, and stock ageing reports.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Store Operations teams for inventory planning.
- Ensure timely stock allocation and distribution to stores based on business requirements.
- Generate and maintain inventory planning reports and dashboards.
- Identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Support seasonal buying plans and inventory budgeting processes.
- Improve inventory accuracy and optimize stock investment across categories.
- Conduct data analysis to support management decision-making.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Inventory Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or Retail Inventory Management.
- Retail experience is mandatory; baby retail, apparel, fashion, or FMCG experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory planning concepts and stock management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
- Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Good understanding of demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Experience in handling inventory planning for multiple retail stores and centralized warehouse operations will be a strong advantage.
- Candidates with strong analytical capabilities, reporting expertise, and data-driven decision-making skills will be
preferred.
- Knowledge of retail KPIs such as Inventory Turnover, Sell-Through, ROS, SOH, Stock Cover, and Ageing Analysis is highly desirable.
